Lesson learnt Hard Way..

I think communication skills must be the mandatory part of any curriculum.. sometimes we need to reveal or stop when a conversation goes out of bounds nd thats very important for every person to know otherwise it can change your future forever..

I have learnt it hard way by revealing it to an unknown stranger whom I considered my friend for sometime..When I was alone and was going thru a bad phase.. I revealed it to this person.. and life changed completely after that (The biggest and stupid mistake of my life )..

Anyways, .. Lost my dear person after that but a very important lesson learnt for life.. Sometimes, I feel it actually happened for good that if it gave that person happiness then at least my stupidity actually helped someone get some happiness in their life .. So, in  a way It is good also ...

One of my favs lines: Muskuraao kyunki tumhe zarurat hai... Kuch kho gaya to b khush raho shayad kisi aur ko uski tum se zaada zarurat thi... Muskuraao kyunki zindagi Khoobsuurat hai...

Love Is Magic ....

So, early morning, Me and my buddy had a short conversation. He was convincing me on how lucky I am being single while I was trying to prove him that he has his own benefits of being in a relationship. Really, sometimes, if we keep aside marriage, career and possessiveness, then how beautiful it feels being in love. Just the two of you know, how deeply you care about the other person. Those short messages, calls, leg pulling make us feel so special. At least someone is there who belongs to your soul. Nobody can snatch away those special moments, memories and feelings from you. Really it feels great to be in love and lo be loved by the one whom you love. And as I always say and believe: "Love is Magic"and nobody knows when this magic leaves you with memories you will cherish for lifetime. So, Keep Loving and Keep Rocking.

Love,
Ann

Random Post

So, I’ve been thinking of writing a blog post since 2 days but didn’t get the chance due to some work priorities. There has been loads of work these days in the office. So, finally, I got the chance due to power failure in the office (they don’t have a generator, blessing for us J)I have 2 new colleagues who have become good friends now. Really, enjoying their company, gossips and masti time. Another update is: I read the novel “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” from which I picked 2-3 good points mentioned below:

1) Our mind is like a garden. The more we nurture it with positive thoughts, the more positive results we get in our day-to-day life.
Following which I try to keep away negative thoughts and people away from my mind and life respectively.

2) 21 Day Funda: Secondly, I learnt from the book is: If you want to install any positive habbit in your system practice it for 21 days, then you will get used to that. For instance, I started going for morning walks and temple regularly and now it is installed in my system.

3) Keep mobile away: Though I am left with very few close friends and my mobile rings rarely, but I’m happy this way. As my life is more organized and peaceful. I enjoy other things like spending time with my family, going out with my sister for movies and shopping, reading novels, meditation.

These were some of the positive things that I could remember from the book. And yes, one more interesting thing: I made kadhaai paneer this weekend and it was delicious. Here is a picture of that:
Hope you liked the picture :). Looking forward to your comments.

Ann

Why Life is Soo Tough

After a very long time, I felt bad for somebody else. Yesterday, we went to one of our distant relative's home. She is my maternal aunt. Few months back her husband expired due to sudden organ failure (I dnt know the exact term). Since it was my off, my mom asked me to accompany her  as my aunt wanted to see her. I thought it would be a change for me as well. We went there. But by the end of the day, when we returned back, I was quite upset.

Reason: Long story in short:

My Aunt had 4 daughters and a Son who is the youngest one. Well, All the 4 daughters got married
in well off families and their son is in garduation last year. But the youngest daughter is going through her divorce (her husband used to beat her up). In this process, all the peace and harmony of the house was lost. Last year she went USA, to give her husband the last chance. But that creep really made her life hell there. This led her to take the final decision that she wants a divorce. In the mean time, my uncle expired, which was quite unexpected and my cousin (the girl battling for divorce) could not see her father in his last time as she was in USA. When she returned back, they got the news that my aunt is also not well as her kedneys have stopped working. Doctors have told them that she would not survive long. After listening all this, I was so upset, that how God could be so harsh on some people. And I am most worried about their brother who is hardly 22 years old, he would be left alone without his parents in this world. I wrote this post just to take my feelings out. I cant show my worries to my mom, otherwise she'll be upset too. Please friends pray for my aunt that she may live long at least till their son gets settle down.

Nothing much to say now... Take Care,
Ann

Happy New Year to you All !

Although it's been over 10 days since the new year has started, but it's never late to give you all the bet wishes. So, here I am wishing you all the best wishes for 2012. May god bless you all with good health, happiness and prosperity. May all your dreams come true. My new year started with a good note. I met some of my old friends (from "B.N.A.G.S. group") and spent whole day chatting and hanging around with time. We gossiped (which is the usual thing with our gang) and shared our future plans. Overall it was fun and felt good to hang around with them.

Here are few pictures, of the evening:

Choose Your Words/Actions Well

Finally, it's Friday. And this one is special one, as tomorrow is the fourth Saturday of the month, so, it will be an off and I would be getting 2 days off. Yaaayyyyy... I can't wait to reach home and sleep till late morning. Lolzzz.. How interesting no, Nowadays, I find sleeping as my best time pass. As it keeps me away from all worries and tensions. But before that, I have to check out the Chinese Food with a my third bitch: "Alps".

No more updates now, Actually, in this post I am going to share a small story, I read on Jamie's Blog (My Inspiration to Blogging). It's an interesting and thoughtful story. So,read on:

Choose Your Words/Actions Well

A woman one day said something that hurt her best friend. She regretted it immediately, and would have done anything to have taken the words back. But they were said, impulsively, in a moment of thoughtlessness, and as close as she and her friend were, she didn't consider the effects of her words beforehand.

In her effort to undo what she had done, she went to an older, wiser woman in the village. She explained her situation, and asked for advice. The older woman listened patiently in an effort to determine just how sincere the younger woman was, how far she was willing to go to correct the situation.

The wise woman said, "There are two things needed to do to make amends. The first of the two is extremely difficult. Tonight, take your best feather pillows, and open a small hole in each one. Then, before the sun rises, you must put a single feather on the doorstep of each house in town. When you are through, come back to me. If you've done the first thing completely, I'll tell you the second."

The young woman hurried home to prepare for her chore. All night long she labored alone in the cold. She went from doorstep to doorstep, taking care not to overlook a single house. Her fingers were frozen, the wind was so sharp it caused her eyes to water, but she ran on, through the darkened streets, thankful there was something she could do to put things back the way they once were.

Just as the sun rose, she returned to the older woman. She was exhausted, but relieved that her efforts would be rewarded. "My pillows are empty. I placed a feather on the doorstep of each home."

Now, said the wise woman, "Go back and refill your pillows. Then everything will be as it was before."

The young woman was stunned. "You know that's impossible! The wind blew away each feather as fast as I placed them on the doorsteps! You didn't say I had to get them back! If this is the second requirement, then things will never be the same."

"That's true", said the older woman. "Never forget. Each of your words is like a feather in the wind. Once spoken, no amount of effort, regardless how heartfelt or sincere, can ever return them to your mouth. Choose your words well, and guard them most of all in the presence of those you love."

Rain

So, finally the monsoon has arrived in Delhi. It was a wonderful evening yesterday. The moment I get out of office, it started raining heavily, buses were jammed with people. Roads were blocked with water, Metro stopped operating. Instead of all this, it was great to feel the heavy rain. I was totally soaked with water while waiting for bus. Overall, it was a great evening. I reached home and had a refreshing cu of tea and talked to "S" (one of my good friends). He's the one I can bitch about how life sucks these days. Though he's an asshole, but I love his sense of humor. See, I'm bitching about him too. Lollzz.. Then went to sleep. Today morning was refreshing and beautiful. I got late for office but then I took an auto and guess what, a handsome hunk was sitting besides me. Loolllzzzz... Girls will be girls. Anyways, it feels great to be in office now. Have got loads of work to finish. Catch you later.

Yeah, one more thing. Here is an interesting post by one of my blogger friends: "AK" . Since I can't copy and paste it, I'm giving the link. Those who are feeling low about anything can read it and get some inspiration.

My Farewell

So, Here comes the next news: Yesterday was my Farewell Party at my old office. It had been a great experience working with the organization. I still remember the day I had joined my previous organization. I was so timid, less confident and careless about my work. Used to chat on phone for half an hour without caring for my Boss. But really, he had been a great support for us always. I will always remember him a a role model. Learnt a lot from him.

Anyways, back to the Farewell Party. All my friends, colleagues and seniors arranged for a farewell party. Everybody gathered and gave me best wishes. And the best part was I got loads of gifts. O.M.G. Greedy me. The list goes like this:

  • A Big greeting card with message from everyone.
  • A bouquet
  • Book named "Almost single"
  • Devi Maa's Photo
  • Brown Goggles

O.M.G.. I was so touched.. Will always remember you guys.

Is It All about "Give and Take" ?

PS: If you don't like reading about those typical emotional stuff, then don't waste your time. This one is not for you ;)

No matter how hard we pretend to remain unaffected by the outer world. Somewhere down the line, we all have emotions and feel the pain when expectations are not met. I know I love to give fundas for every situation and one of those fundas is "It's all about Give and Take". Be it family, friends or beloved, we all expect something in return. The proportion might differ from person to person, but I think ... Lolllzz... (As gals can't think according to my dear friend)... But yeah I think expectations are always there in every relationship. That's the question that have been there in my mind for last few day. Do expectations develop with time or with the love or bond you share or is it the kind of relationship you share with the particular person? To sum up it in one line: I would say What's more important: Time, Love or the relationship. Because I might not have much expectation from my siblings while I may expect a lot from a friend. But yeah, being a normal selfish creature, I too expect and sometimes, my fundas fail. I might expect without giving something in return. That's something which is a very big (Sorry, I'm short of the appropriate word) to ask for, that's what I think (Yes, I can think... Loollzzz).. So, what you guys think. Does this "Give and Take" funda applies for you OR you've found the one who loves you UNCONDITIONALLY ??

PPS: I don't know how much sense does this post makes to you. But I would definitely appreciate your views on this.

Hi All !!!

Hi All ! I know it's been long since I updated my blog. Though I've been regularly posting comments on my other Blogger friends posts, I could not get time to write a post myself :) With increased targets at workplace, it's really difficult to indulge into my own interests. Anyways, in past couple of days, I have many things to share with all of you. Here are few updates:

1. Celebrated my Birthday. Thanks to my lovely team members and GOBs, for giving me such an exciting surprise :) .. We had a full celebration, from cake cutting ceremony to accepting gifts. This B'day I received maximum gifts I think. 2 t-shits and 4 kurtis and 2 Novels.. O.M.G... I was so happy.

2. Our monthly targets have increased, not so happy. But we can't help it.

3. Then came Raksha Bandhan. Loads of sweets and celebrations. Enjoyed the day with my siblings and relatives.

4. Fourth and the last one. Swine Flu. Heyyyy wait wait wait, don't think that I'm suffering from that, fortunately we are safe and I wish everybody remains safe specially the kids.

Yesterday, I was chatting with one of my blogger friends and she told me that situation is really bad in her city. All schools, colleges, institutions, cinema halls and malls are closed as a precautionary measure to avoid the Flu. Really, even people in Delhi are also worried about the flu. People in our office have started wearing those masks. Though, the things are a bit serious, but with some precautions we can avoid it.

You can have a complete idea about the Flu and how it spreads from Wikipedia.

There are antiviral medicines you can take to prevent or treat swine flu. Though, there is no vaccine available right now to protect against swine flu, you can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like influenza by following precautions.

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. You can also use alcohol-based hand cleaners.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.
  • Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
  • Stay home from work or school if you are sick.

At last I would suggest, don't panic and take care :)

T0 make things a bit lighter, try this test.

Here is an interesting test that will give you the opportunity to learn what such things as love, relationships, betrayal, sympathy mean to you.

I hope I don’t have to explain that the test is having a comic aspect, take it with humor winked

Here are my results :)

Loneliness Kills Me

Sitting Alone in my office department on my seat, I am feeling soooo scared deep down inside. Not Scared of any ghost or Lizard (My phobia), but I am scared of the loneliness. As nobody has arrived yet, I am alone in the department, doing my work. But negative thoughts are constantly clouding my mind, all the insecurities shrinking my heart and making me feel so helpless. To avoid that negative thing, I tried to distract my thoughts to something else, read some blogs, wrote some content, did some usual reporting stuff but all in vain. That feeling of loneliness is there. And one thing I must admit I am Scared of it.

Though I am a reserved person, become choosy while making friends but I need people around me to feel alive. Otherwise, I feel so scared and low. I avoid such kinda situation in which I may be left alone, but if I am alone all these negative thoughts keep coming to my mind. Thank God, one of the colleagues has arrived... Feels like life has come back. And yeah thanks to Blogging that I can take it out by writing. See ya Guys.

Friends Forever

I am feeling very happy today. You must be wondering why? Actually my best friend came to see me in my office. I know it's not a big deal as compared to what he has done for me in past 7-8 years. Tolerated my impatient behavior, supported through my thick and thins, always motivated me to do better and achieve whatever I wanted to and much more which I can't explain on this Blog. He came here just to see me as our work schedules don't allow us to meet otherwise. Though I was telling him not to come as we can not meet our friends in office for more than 10-15 minutes. But he took all the pain to come and see me. And now I am feeling that these small efforts and things really matter a lot to make the bond more stronger. Feeling too good about it. At least a small change in my daily routine filled me with all the positive energy. And I am happy that I am blessed with so many wonderful people.

Still ....

So, I stayed up till 2:30 a.m last night just to find out How these Guys (Ryan, Hari and Alok) managed to get their degree. Loved reading the novel: "Five Point Someone". Honestly, while reading the book, I missed my hostel days (which I always do anyways). Still thinking about my dream Boy "Ryan". Yup! after reading the complete Novel, I still love him, despite the fact that he was the lowest performer in his batch. So what? grades don't make you a better person in any manner. See Love is Blind. LOL. Yeah I am missing those characters, especially RYAN. Hope he exists somewhere, and if he reads this, please do let me know Buddy !!! As I am waiting for you :)

Social Networking Websites: Big NO for me

As always, a question is popping again and again in my mind and now it's the time to throw it out of my system (As I always do). At this point of time, I can say that I don't believe in making new friends. My old friends are enough to make me laugh or share a thought whenever I need them, they are there for me. To be more precise I don't put effort to make friends now, according to me it should be a natural thing. If I find someone whose intellect matches with mine, he/she is most welcome but I don't have time for nonscence talkers.

But things got a bit boring for past few weeks. After almost two years of single hood, I got bored living the same life daily. Get up early in the morning, do some excersice, get ready for office, work hard, achieve targets, get back to the home and then go to sleep. I wanted some change. So, as suggested by a good friend of mine, I joined a social networking site in hope of finding a great friend. But, my illusion broke in a few days and I came to the conclusion, that finding a real friend in a virtual world (on internet) is difficult. From my experience, I feel, people use such websites just for the sake of having fun or to discuss stuff which they don't have guts to share with somebody face to face. They just want to talk dirty and if you don't do that they'll tell that you are not open minded.

I am really pissed off. C'mon people, wake up. We are in 21th century. I can very well discuss sex and other things openly. But the discussion should be healthy not the cheap stuff. Like if someone is my close friend (no matter girl or boy) and we are having a healthy discussion on some very personal. I won't mind sharing my thought with them, but discussing things on social networking websites that too when you don't know the other person's frame of mind is a big NO for me at least. If people are that desperate, I would suggest go and watch a porno and help the website owners generate some business.

Anyways, that was not a great experience for me, so I would stick to what I believe in. Making friends in real world not in the virtual world. Though the virtual world seems to be more attractive, but I love to be in the real world and want to live with real people.
