The Best Free Things You Can Do in Goa

Travelling is one of the most common passions, we have and when it comes to destinations like Goa, no one would like to miss the opportunity. But many people have this question that can we travel Goa with a small budget? Then the answer is “Yes”. You read it right; you can visit the destination with a small budget too.

So, here we will discuss about the plenty of activities to do in Goa that do not cost a single rupee.

Sun and Sand at Goa Beaches

Swimming, sunbathing, watching the sunset are some of the best things you can experience in Goa. There are numerous beaches that offer all these things without straining your wallet.

Ancient Churches

Goa is home to many churches. One of the ancient and famous churches in the city is "the Basilica of Bom Jesus” that is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites.

 Goa Carnival

Held in February every year, Goa Carnival is the vivacious, lively and jam-packed event. The three-day event involves parades, live bands, music, dancing troupes, sports competitions, DJ nights, fashion shows and a lot more. It is a visual treat on the streets of Goa. And yes, it is free to attend!

Night Markets

After the sun sets, Goa comes alive. The night markets of Goa are famous and shopping is purely optional. The Saturday Night Market in Arpora and Mackies Night Bazaar in Baga are definitely worth a visit.

Tracking Trails

Enjoy the beautiful side of nature in Goa by exploring the forests of Mollem National Park around Dudhsagar Falls or you may head to Krishnapur Canyon through Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.

With so, many things to do that cost nothing, Goa should be your second home, and that’s possible when you have your own resort or villa there.

Why Life is Soo Tough

After a very long time, I felt bad for somebody else. Yesterday, we went to one of our distant relative's home. She is my maternal aunt. Few months back her husband expired due to sudden organ failure (I dnt know the exact term). Since it was my off, my mom asked me to accompany her  as my aunt wanted to see her. I thought it would be a change for me as well. We went there. But by the end of the day, when we returned back, I was quite upset.

Reason: Long story in short:

My Aunt had 4 daughters and a Son who is the youngest one. Well, All the 4 daughters got married
in well off families and their son is in garduation last year. But the youngest daughter is going through her divorce (her husband used to beat her up). In this process, all the peace and harmony of the house was lost. Last year she went USA, to give her husband the last chance. But that creep really made her life hell there. This led her to take the final decision that she wants a divorce. In the mean time, my uncle expired, which was quite unexpected and my cousin (the girl battling for divorce) could not see her father in his last time as she was in USA. When she returned back, they got the news that my aunt is also not well as her kedneys have stopped working. Doctors have told them that she would not survive long. After listening all this, I was so upset, that how God could be so harsh on some people. And I am most worried about their brother who is hardly 22 years old, he would be left alone without his parents in this world. I wrote this post just to take my feelings out. I cant show my worries to my mom, otherwise she'll be upset too. Please friends pray for my aunt that she may live long at least till their son gets settle down.

Nothing much to say now... Take Care,
Ann

The Alchemist

Hi All !

It's been long time, since I wrote. Actually, a lot had been going on in life though, but I didn't feel like writing. After 4 months of brainstorming that what I actually want, now I've decided to prepare for govt. job like a Bank job or so.. a it will be good from long term perspective. Moreover, I think, I'm done with the corporate culture and can't continue like this for long.

Next, I read the book: "Alchemist". The Alchemist details the journey of a young Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago. Santiago, believing a recurring dream to be prophetic, decides to travel to the pyramids of Egypt to find treasure. I had heard a lot about the book and it's really worth it. Here are some lines from the book which, I loked the most:

"I'm like everyone else - I see the world in terms of what I would like to seehappen, not what actually does."

"Making a decision was only the beginning of the things. When someone makes a decision, he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he had never dreamed of when he first made the decision."

This one is my favorite: When the boy meets the gal "Fatima" - love of his life and how she expresses her immense trust and love to him: "I am a desert woman, and I'm proud of that. I want my husband to wander as free as the wind that shapes the dunes. And, if he does not returns, I will accept the fact that he has become a part of the clouds, and the animals and the water of the desert."

Quote No 4: "Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time."

And the last one: "It's true; life really is generous to those who persue their destiny"

These were few of the quotes, I hope, you liked them. Will be sharing more updates soon. Till then, Love you all and wish u a Very Happy and Safe Holi. Enjoy!!

Weekend

So.. the weekend was fun. My parents had invited some unwanted guests, which I didn't want to attend. It was like, how to escape the sitution. Hence, I made a plan to meet my MCA batchmate.. The weather was awsome. Though we were at her home only, but we enjoyed a lot. We were 4 - Me, my friend, her younger brother and his friends. We gossiped about their galfriends, then played cards..and then her brother made delicious rajma chawal. Now I came to know, why men are called better chefs. After that we went to market and enjoyed. Overall, it was a great day and I was like, better I came here otherwise I had to tolerate those guests. Anyways...

On sunday, I watched "Hannah Montana" and "Tere Bin Laden". Both were fun to watch. And yeah, those who've not watched "Tere Bin Laden" must watch it. It's a good comedy movie. One more thing.. Last night we had a piza party at home. And theit Choco LAVA was just delicious.. Mmmmmm.... Yummmy.... I can't resist.

So, overall, it was a good weekend. Now an sitting in the ofice waiting for that IT Asshole. My net is not working :( .. Why do we have just 2 days off :( Why these Mondays...

Anyways guys, enjoy and have a nice week ahead.

The weekend

The weekend was quite exciting. Finally, G.O.B.s (Gang of Bitches) managed to take out time for a get together. Yes, we three - Ann, Alps and Pinks planned a get together at Pinks' home. We had fun together. First we went to her place, gossiped about our old office, bitched about all other gals, and laughed a lot. Really, it was fun together after so many days. Then we went to market. I bought a nice top for myself as my mother told me and then red hot sexy sandals, O.M.G. I love them. Today, I have worn them too :) So, back to the weekend, the day was fun filled.

As Alps has got engaged, congrats Alps, We saw her would be hubby's photographs and pulled her leg. Really, it's a wonderful feeling to be engaged and then planning for marriage. O.M.G, I'm waiting for my Prince Charming, Who would be the lucky guy. Lollzzzz. We clicked so many pics, ate a lot. Pinks mom make delicious food, I am planning to take cooking lessons from her :) So, in short, it had been a great day. Looking forward to more fun, more laughter and more excitement.

The Weekend

So, I did nothing on last Weekend. Usually I don't do anything special on Weekends, but this weekend was special. As I didn't go out for movies, shopping. Nothing at all. I spent quality time sitting in front of TV with remote Control and with full Control (As I don't allow anybody to touch the Remote on Weekends Looolzzz.). So On Saturday, I watched TV, ate more sweets, treated myself with good ghar ka Khana. Oh I love Paranthas with loads of Butter on it (To Hell with Dieting) and Adrak waali Chai. Even Mom loves Weekends as she has the company to share sweets with her.

Anyways, then I watched movie: "Dil Chahta Hai" and missed my college Days. I remember, When we were in College, we used to wait for our studies to get over, so that we can Earn Money. But, Nowadays, we crib about our Boss, targets and How dull Life has become. I know Human Beings can never be satisfied. As the Shah Rukh Says: "Don't be Just Santusht, Thoda Aur Wish Karo". Same thing applies here. I miss those old days, though I'm enjoying this phase of life as well. Anyways, Cut it Out. No More Serious Stuff. That's how I spent my Weekend. How was your Weekend? All your Comments are Welcome ;)

Want To Expand My Wings

Weather is so lovely outside. Today I was not feeling like coming to work (this is not a new thing, I hardly feel like coming to work LOL:). So, on my way to office, looking outside the Cab's window I was feeling like get down there and then only and start walking and enjoy the weather (but could not do so). A rush of emotions in my heart is telling me to do lots of things. Like I want to ride a Scooty and go on my own to wherever I want, catch a good movie, eat something spicy, dance in Rain or just go for a stroll with my Mom. Sooooo ... Excited O.M.G. I think the Weekend Fever has started showing its Symptoms. And with this want to spread my Wings long and wide as possible as I can.
