May god bless you all with good health, happiness and prosperity. May all your dreams come true. My new year started with a good note. I met some of my old friends (from "B.N.A.G.S. group") and spent whole day chatting and hanging around with time. We gossiped (which is the usual thing with our gang) and shared our future plans. Overall it was fun and felt good to hang around with them.

Here are few pictures, of the evening:

Eat Pray Love

Hi All ! Hope you having fun and enjoying the way life is treating you. Last weekend was fun in its own way. Since I was alone at home so I enjoyed the liberty to watch late night movies :) No no no.. don't make any wild guesses. I actually watched the movie "Eat Pray Love" starring Julia Robets and there were some really good messages in the film. The movie revolves around three keys to happiness and contentment in life and those keys are Eat, Pray and Love. We all have achieved some milestones in our lives and some people are really doing well but even after that they are not happy with anything. They are always looking for the inner peace and contentment. So, I am explaing these three keys so that we all can at least try and be happy in whatever we have or whatever comes in this beautiful journey called "Life"

Eat: Some females/males are really conscious about how they look or how to maintain a perfect figure and in this imperfect world they run after the perfection so badly that sometimes they deprive themselves with the pleasure of some great food/stuff. There is an instance when the lead actress tells her friend that she must not worry about her figure constantly by giving a simple example. A man never leaves a room by seeing a fat naked women while making love to her because her flab never makes adifference to him. In fact, at that moment of time all he is concerned about making love to her. So, if someone really appreciates you and your body he/she would never reject you on how you look or how thin ot thick you are. So, please don't deprive yourselves from the pleasure of all the great foon in this world.

(P.S.: Don't run after zero figure, but yeah, you must keep it healthy)

Pray: Another very important aspect of a content life is to "Pray", to meditate. The God lies within us. So, rather than looking for answers in the outer world, look into yourself. Follow your heart. This would give us the immense satisfaction. In fact, I have started attending some spiritual lectures in nearby institution and it really is helping me to deal with life in a better manner.

Love: The third key is to Love. I know, we all our not fortunate enough to find our soulmate in the very first person we fall in love with. But yes, we must keep our heart open for that special one. Don't be afraid. You never know may be you will find that person at the age of 15 or 35 or may be 45. But even few days or years spent with such a soulmate will be worth waiting for.

I hope I am able to explain the three keys in best possible way. May be it will help you all to enjoy life in a better way.

Last Weekend

Well a lot is going on around me.. but I hardly get time to post it or you can say I've become too lazy to write blog posts. Last sunday while waiting for a friend on metro station, I clicked some pictures and though may be I can try something creative rather than looking for that regular 9 to 5 job.

This is the road going in front of metro station.. Lights and traffic reminded me of the movie: "Life in a Metro"

When I clicked this picture, the guy sitting on stairs looked back to check if I've clicked his pic. But, I managed to hide my camera. Lol. :)
This evening I realised that sometimes we can enjoy ourselves and our own company :)

Dil behlaane ko khayal achha hai Ghalib

So, I am busy with studies these days and am actually quite satisfied with how life is moving on. Stopped expecting and planning things. Yesterday lying on my bed, gazing at the ceiling fan, I was actually thinking what next??? I have always heard and believed that we get what we want from the core of our heart. There is a dialogue from a very famous movie of Shah Rukh Khan: "Tum ko paane ki maine itni shiddat se chaahat ki hai, ki har zarre ne mujhe tum se milaane ki koshish ki hai" (I tried so hard to be with you, that the whole universe actually conspired to help me get you).. So, in short, it can be said that, if we really, actually want something, it actually materializes.

But now the thought seems a bit unrealistic. For me, Love has always been the first priority of my life. Though some people might not agree with this, but I've always waited for someone to love me and someone whome I could love without being in a fear of losing him. Several guys came and went and left some great moments to cherish or added bad experience to my life but nothing could actually materialise into a happy love stroy that ended well. Either I didn't like the (who approached me) or they were commitment phobic or they were just interested in physical intimacy. So, the end result; remained single for most of the time and craved for love. Now I think, is Love a mirage in desert which we see indesert but when we actually reach there, it's not there. My family is now looking forward to get me married as soon as possible. Though I also want to get marriead and settle down but sometimes, the idea of an arranged marriage suffocates me. How can I shackle myself with a person just after a formal meeting and that too without being in love. Would it not be difficult to spend rest of my life with such a person, in case I never fall in love with him.

Though I keep myself busy in studies, but this idea sometimes haunts me. I even see nightmares related to marriage that I got married to the son of some Sarpanch (head of the village). Lol. But I don't have any other option as I could not find even a single courageous man who could take stand for me. I don't know what lies ahead, but just hope that I get married to a person whom I like at least (if not love). Amen!

P.S. : I am not disturbed. But I had to take it out anyways. And yeah, Happy weekend to all :)

Weather in Delhi is awesome these days..I clicked some pics.. You might not be able to see the rain in the pics, but I found the scene beautiful and clicked some. As I could not find the data cable so, will post the pics in my next post.

Till then take care,
Love,
Ann
