Random Post

So, I’ve been thinking of writing a blog post since 2 days but didn’t get the chance due to some work priorities. There has been loads of work these days in the office. So, finally, I got the chance due to power failure in the office (they don’t have a generator, blessing for us J)I have 2 new colleagues who have become good friends now. Really, enjoying their company, gossips and masti time. Another update is: I read the novel “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” from which I picked 2-3 good points mentioned below:

1) Our mind is like a garden. The more we nurture it with positive thoughts, the more positive results we get in our day-to-day life.
Following which I try to keep away negative thoughts and people away from my mind and life respectively.

2) 21 Day Funda: Secondly, I learnt from the book is: If you want to install any positive habbit in your system practice it for 21 days, then you will get used to that. For instance, I started going for morning walks and temple regularly and now it is installed in my system.

3) Keep mobile away: Though I am left with very few close friends and my mobile rings rarely, but I’m happy this way. As my life is more organized and peaceful. I enjoy other things like spending time with my family, going out with my sister for movies and shopping, reading novels, meditation.

These were some of the positive things that I could remember from the book. And yes, one more interesting thing: I made kadhaai paneer this weekend and it was delicious. Here is a picture of that:
Hope you liked the picture :). Looking forward to your comments.

Why Life is Soo Tough

After a very long time, I felt bad for somebody else. Yesterday, we went to one of our distant relative's home. She is my maternal aunt. Few months back her husband expired due to sudden organ failure (I dnt know the exact term). Since it was my off, my mom asked me to accompany her  as my aunt wanted to see her. I thought it would be a change for me as well. We went there. But by the end of the day, when we returned back, I was quite upset.

Reason: Long story in short:

My Aunt had 4 daughters and a Son who is the youngest one. Well, All the 4 daughters got married
in well off families and their son is in garduation last year. But the youngest daughter is going through her divorce (her husband used to beat her up). In this process, all the peace and harmony of the house was lost. Last year she went USA, to give her husband the last chance. But that creep really made her life hell there. This led her to take the final decision that she wants a divorce. In the mean time, my uncle expired, which was quite unexpected and my cousin (the girl battling for divorce) could not see her father in his last time as she was in USA. When she returned back, they got the news that my aunt is also not well as her kedneys have stopped working. Doctors have told them that she would not survive long. After listening all this, I was so upset, that how God could be so harsh on some people. And I am most worried about their brother who is hardly 22 years old, he would be left alone without his parents in this world. I wrote this post just to take my feelings out. I cant show my worries to my mom, otherwise she'll be upset too. Please friends pray for my aunt that she may live long at least till their son gets settle down.

Nothing much to say now... Take Care,
Ann

Happy Independece Day 2012

It's been long since I wrote something.. First of all, belated happy Independence to you all. A lot is there to share since I posted last time. My workplace has become quite chaotic these days as majority of the staff consists of gals so you can expect how it must be like.. gossips, bitching and discussions in all breaks during office hours. So, both pros and cons are there. Recently, after some incidences, I have made a promise to myself that at this independence day, I am giving myself the independece from all the negative thoughts, my past, and above all the independece from being too sweet and good to everyone. Rather than torturing myself for wat others think about me, I'll be myself. Accept me if u like me as I am otherwise it's your decision. I'll try to be polite and humble but not by compromising on my values. Rest is great. Delhi is enjoying good monsoon and am lovong it and my new Independence :) Hope you all are doing great too.

Lunch at Moti Mahal Deluxe

So after 5 months.. today was the day when we all got the chance to interact. Actually, Our chairman took us all on a lunch in Motimahal South Ex. The restaurant was good and so the food was. But above all, I enjoyed the gossips as always. Mjority of us were girls. Only 3 men were there including the Chairman. So, now you can imagine the scene :) All chit chat. Every one was gossiping about how much they spend on food. How many restaurants have they been to. and how they don't like cooking and go to big restaurants and splurge more on food. All was fun but I didn't like the way the girls show off for the style statement. Be humble. a beautiful person need not to bark that they are beautiful, but the beauty reflects itself.

I loved the food and the ambience. Anyways, for me it was a good change from daily routine. and yes, I am not ashamed to admit that I this was my first time at Moti Mahal and I rarely go to big restaurants. After that we took a stroll in neighbourhood area and came back to office to wind up the remaining work. I wish I could share some pics., but since Mr. Chairman was there, it didn't seem appropriate.

So, this was something new I wanted to share with you all. Hope you all are doing good. Will get back soon with new updates.

Before The Candle Burns Out

This is the post I read on one of my Blogger friend's Blog. And I loved it so much that I am posting it here as it is after taking his permission. Hope, you'll like it too.

No, she did not feel naked. He was loving her soul inside her body.

Her breathing was uneven and shallow. His was no different.

There he was, on top of her, his glorious eyes piercing her beautiful ones. She blushed furiously and he smiled as he bent down to kiss her coral lips. The more she blushed, the prettier she seemed to him.

Her hands, already snaked around his neck, now knotted themselves in his hair, pulling him closer to herself, closer and closer still.

His fingers tingled her as they trailed across her naked form, arousing sensations that she had never felt, had never known to be existent.

She shivered. He kissed her harder, deeper.

Fingers intertwined, legs entangled, it was difficult to find one’s beginning and the other’s end.

They lost track of time, each moment a bliss, each pain an ecstasy.

A small whimper escaping her lips made him stop. She opened her eyes, worried, and found his eyes boring into her own, again. She smiled at him, raised her head and kissed his lips lovingly. and he pushed her down as he kissed her back passionately.

Moments later he let out an almost inaudible moan of satisfaction.

Her cheeks flushed, her entire being trembled. The beauty of this pain and pleasure was indescribable, much like the rainbow.

He kissed her forehead, her eyes, her warm pink cheeks and her lips.

“I love you” he whispered huskily, quite out of breath.

“I love you” she whispered back in a strained but happy voice.

I am breathing in your love,

And, my life I am breathing out,

We don’t have much time, love,

Before the candle burns out...

Look Forward, My Friend!

Not backward,
Not in the past,
Not in agony,
And not in regret,
Look forward, my friend!

In a world full of cynics,
Individuals regretful of the past and fearful of the future,
Where will you find optimism, hope and peace?
Nowhere but in the present,
And in the present, by looking forward, my friend!

Past is history,
Put it in a dictionary,
Look for a hopeful today and promising tomorrow,
By forgetting all that already happened,
And by waiting to find out what will next happen,
By looking forward, my friend!

Say no to negativity,
Say no to agitated mind and worrisome thoughts,
Accept uncertainty,
Do so by non-resistance, acceptance and surrender,
He who brought you here will sustain you,
Have this firm faith in you,
And live by looking forward, my friend!

P.S. Please forget the past, look forward, move ahead and make new memories. Let go the past and move ahead..

God bless!
Take Care,
Ann
